For as long as I can remember, I have always had a special interest in handbags: large or small, classic shapes or shoppers. Looking at them, touching them, or trying them on gave me and still gives me great aesthetic pleasure. Now I remember the day when my boyfriend gave me the first leather bag of an unknown brand in a very hearty store in Croatia. These emotions are impossible to convey with words. From that moment I decided for myself that I would collect my collection of bags and buy only what I like, keep them in a duster, and wear them carefully. And that's how it turned out. We are not talking about high-profile brands with exorbitant cost, so my current collection is a reminder of certain periods and events in my life. So to release at least one bag under my brand (already engaged in the production of clothing) was a cherished dream for me, at some stages even unrealizable. The first thing was to choose the leather. I want to say right away that to my mind a quality bag that can last more than a year or even five years (with proper care) should be made of quality leather, supplemented with no less quality accessories that don't lose their appearance and simply won't break. Since I firmly decided for myself that we will not make any compromises, even if it will be very expensive and even financially inefficient, we chose the best Italian leather on the market. Then there was no less sensitive stage - the creation of the sketch and elaboration of fittings, which we had been waiting for a very long time because we ordered it from Italy. Long negotiations and reworkings of little things, invisible to the naked eye, to bring the shape to perfection. Tears of disappointment, endless waiting, and finally tears of happiness. That the long-awaited specimen was ready. With trepidation and special love, I want to introduce you to our first bag, which I named Alba (It. Dawn). Hi! My name is Albina Krasnaya, I'm the founder and creative director at THE LACE. Not so long ago I went to Milan, the fashion capital of the world, for inspiration and frankly I'm still impressed. This time I opened for myself this city from another side, it turns out that there are a lot of interesting things there besides the Duomo and other standard "must-see". I want to share with you my impressions and introduce you to two museums.   Fondazione Prada It is a small artistic quarter in the south of Milan. The complex consists of several buildings. In each of them, you can see different expositions (temporary and permanent). Prepare for the fact that you have to stand in line for tickets for up to 30 minutes. Most of all we liked the new 9-story building. Had the good fortune to see the extraordinary beauty of the staircase, because the elevator did not work that day (yes, we were lucky). Basically, this museum is about contemporary art. All the exhibits are very different and interesting. So I advise you to go to the 9th floor so you don't miss anything. I will not reveal all the cards. Conceptually the museum is very similar to Pinchuk Art Center, I thought that there will be more emphasis on fashion and not on contemporary art. It was a mistake - but I'm not upset! There is a very nice Italian restaurant on the grounds, where you can eat and drink a glass of sparkling wine - to mark the "taking of the new museum" on your world map. Armani/Silos Fashion art museum, which is located in Milan and is dedicated to the Armani style. As Giorgio says, the word Silos (from English: granary, bunker) in the name is for a reason. Previously this building was used for storing food and, in his opinion, food, like clothes, is a vital necessity. We enter the building - and we are greeted by a pleasant and stylish doorman, as in boutiques, there is not a single person at the front desk. We quickly buy tickets and begin our journey into the world of Armani. The museum is a 4-story building, the architect and the designer did a titanic job, thinking everything to the smallest detail and creating an interior that epitomizes the Armani style. On the first floor, there is an exhibition of photographs, which is divided into thematic zones. Each zone has its own music, so the visitor may feel the mood of the exposition. The next three floors are thematic blocks of Armani collections for the last 40 years - from 1980 to the present day. The museum features more than 400 dresses and 200 accessories, which are impossible to look away from. Each floor is dedicated to its own theme and is divided into stylistic and color zones. Armani's philosophy and vision are such that next to the dress of 1989 you can see the dress of the previous season and these contrasts make the exhibition even more fascinating. Armani dresses are true works of art. All this riot of colors and styles is gathered here and now, in one place, so you can enjoy the aesthetics of contrasts and feel the greatness of the work that has been boiling for so many years, and which combined the height of creativity and perfection of execution.
